The Wine Admired around the world, Pomerol is the bijou of the Right Bank. This Réserve Spéciale, from the outstanding 2015 vintage, is the result of a careful selection of some of the best parcels from Pomerol. Seamlessly combining power, balance and elegance, the 2015 vintage is one that delights Bordeaux purists. Donning an impenetrable purple robe, this gem oozes a smorgasbord of cassis, black cherry and raspberry, complemented by such scented spices as vanilla, cinnamon and clove. Dense yet refreshing in texture, the potent palate rests on perfectly ripe tannins, leading to an elongated finish. The Art Renowned for his signature “epic-sized” portraits, Yan Pei Ming has created a series of imposing, larger-than-life portraits of world leaders past and present, such as Mao Zedong and Barack Obama. A member of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, he created this intensely reflective portrait of the former French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin. The subject-matter of the portrait appears engrossed in observation of the material world, from the standpoint of a statesman and poet.
